This past month has been a very active one for Ryleigh. Now that she has learned to crawl, she is constantly on the move. And it didn't take her long to find all the things we didn't want her to get into - especially Max's dog bowls. Poor Max - we had to relocate his food & water to the living room.
In addition to crawling, Ryleigh has learned how to pull herself up to standing and after a few days of getting stuck in a standing position she learned how to sit back down (which is harder than you might think!) I don't think it will be too long before she starts cruising around the furniture. Hopefully she'll give us a little break and wait at least a couple more months to start walking :)
She's been teething like crazy and now has 2 teeth on the bottom, 1 on top and 3 more on top that are currently breaking through the gums. Needless to say she shoves everything and anything in her mouth and drools like crazy!
We just spent a very fun weekend in Philly for cousin Caitlin's 2nd birthday and we're heading down to the OuterBanks for vacation tonight. We're looking forward to seeing how Ryleigh likes the beach now that she's mobile. Guaranteed she will get a mouthful of sand at some point :)
