Ryleigh - 5 Months Old

This has been a busy month for Ryleigh. She took her first trip to OBX and absolutely loved the sand! She even took her first nap on the beach. She started eating cereal this month and now eats it twice a day. At first she didn't know what to do with it and made some interesting faces when I tried to feed it to her. But it didn't take her long to like it and now she opens her mouth wide and even sticks out her tongue to let you know she's ready for more. It is so adorable!

She is finally sleeping through the night (THANK GOD!) and has become quite the good napper. She started daycare this past week and so far things seem to be going well. She's handling it much better than her mommy :)

She has become very active over the past few weeks. She can roll both ways now and moves her legs all over the place when she's on her stomach - which makes me think crawling isn't that far off. Oh boy! I guess we better start child-proofing the house!

She also started going to swim class with Daddy. She loves the water but is not too big a fan of the class - probably because the first thing they do is have you dunk them under the water. She does enjoy it when Daddy carries her around in the pool and she gets to watch all the other kids. We think she's really going to have fun this summer when we take her to the baby pool - just as long as there is no more dunking :)
