Ryleigh turned 4 months old this month! She nows weighs 14 lbs, 11 oz and is 25 inches tall (both in the 75th percentile). She is changing so much every day! For someone who spends most of her time lying on her back, she is really moving a lot these days. She does 360's in her crib, rolls onto her side from her back and just started rolling over (from front to back) over Easter weekend. She is constantly kicking her feet and especially loves how they make a splash in the bath tub!
She smiles all the time, giggles when you tickle her, and babbles and babbles and babbles. She even started making rasberries recently! She is so interactive these days - it really is such a fun age!
These coming weeks and months are sure to be full of new experiences. She's been getting used to her exersaucer and I'm sure she will really enjoy it as she grows and learns to play with all of its toys. She's been sitting up in her Bumbo and her booster seat and the doctor just gave us the OK to start introducing solid foods to her diet. We're starting with rice cereal this week.
As I'm writing this she is currently experiencing her first trip to OBX. We took her on the beach today and she absolutely loved the feel of the sand on her feet! I have a feeling she's going to love the beach as much as her mommy and daddy!
